&lt;p>&lt;strong>The role &lt;/strong>&lt;strong>–&lt;/strong> &lt;strong>the&lt;/strong>&lt;strong> Finance Team Leader &lt;/strong>ensures the sound financial administration and management for the Climate Change Flagship Programme, ensuring all SPC procurement, travel and financial policies and guidelines are complied with and supporting documents are archived. The finance team leader supports the implementation of the shared services vision in the division which supports a new way of working through collaboration between central finance and divisions.&lt;/p>

 &lt;li>Liaise with project team leaders, development partners and donors to ensure project or division administration staff maintain reporting schedules, financial acquittals and arrange for timely disbursements in accordance with signed funding agreements.&lt;/li>
 &lt;li>Liaise with development and implementing partners at planning stage on financial agreements to ensure they meet all SPC financial requirements with supporting documentation.&lt;/li>

&lt;p>&lt;span>As the key implementing partner for the Pacific Women Lead portfolio, SPC leads the &lt;strong>Pacific Women Lead (PWL) at SPC programme &lt;/strong>(PWL at SPC), located within SPC’s HRSD Division. The PWL at SPC programme receives more than AUD 55 million under the Australian Government’s AUD 170 million PWL portfolio. PWL at SPC has funding for five years from 2021−2026.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span>&lt;/p>
&lt;p>&lt;span>The PWL at SPC programme goal is that Pacific women and girls, in all their diversity, are safe and equitably share in resources, opportunities and decision-making, with men and boys. There are three outcomes: (1) Women’s leadership promoted; (2) Women’s rights realised; and (3) Pacific regional partners increase the effectiveness of regional gender equality efforts. Joining PWL at SPC, other central partners include PWL Enabling Services (PWLES); AIR (Amplify – Invest – Reach) partnership of women’s funds, civil society organisations and coalitions; and the Australian Government’s direct relationships with development partners for regional programmes, such as the United Nations (UN).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span>&lt;/p>
&lt;p>&lt;span>The&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong>Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Adviser&lt;/strong> for PWL will provide technical advice, assistance, and capacity building across the Pacific Women Lead programme. The role will also support other objectives across the HRSD Division.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span>&lt;/p>
&lt;p>&lt;span>The key responsibilities of the role include:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span>&lt;/p>
&lt;p>&lt;span>&lt;strong>Provide technical assistance on gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) across the PWL at SPC programme in the areas of women’s leadership, women’s rights, and disability inclusion.&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/p>

 &lt;li>&lt;span>Provides advice and programme support to PWL at SPC activities in the areas of enhancing women’s voices in decision making spaces, women’s health, women’s safety, women’s economic empowerment, enhancing agency and ending violence against women.&lt;/span>&lt;/li>
 &lt;li>&lt;span>Assist in research and analysis that informs activity design and implementation,&lt;/span>&lt;/li>

An offer of appointment for an initial contract will normally be made in the lower half of this range, with due consideration given to experience and qualifications. Progression within the salary scale will be based on annual performance reviews. Remuneration of expatriate SPC staff members is not subject to income tax in Fiji; Fiji nationals employed by SPC in Fiji will be subject to income tax.&lt;/span>&lt;/p>
&lt;p>&lt;span>&lt;strong>Benefits for international employees based in Fiji – &lt;/strong>SPC provides a housing allowance of FJD 1,350–3,000 per month.
